After installing my new Mustang seat on my 07 Deluxe, I ntoiced it raised me about 1 inch over the old Sundowner seat. Now the top of my HD windshield is eye level and it's very annoying. I'm either looking just over or just under the top. I prefer to look thru the windshield and get maximum wind protection (I know the recommendation is to look over it). I couldn't find a Memphis Shades shield that works with the HD hardware so got on the internet and found a company called Cee Bailey's Aircraft Plastic that makes replacement shields for the Deluxe with this hardware. Anyone out there used there products, and how do you like it? They specialize in aircraft plastic but also supply moto parts. BTW, the new Mustang seat with riders backrest was great on my trip down to Key west. Best seat I'ver ever owned.
On my Heritage I had the same issuse with the windsheild. If your backrest reclines, you can lay it back and look thru, or sit straight upand look over. Never tried or heard of the folks your asking about. Good luck.
do you have the king size windshield if not that would help if you do then you can have it cut down a bit. one other option that might help is to lower the back end an inch
Marty, I have a Cee Bailey's windshield on my 06 Deluxe. It will fit perfectly with your hardware. You can also customize the cut +/- up to 2 inches on top and side. I widened mine 2 inches and am very happy. Also thicker/stronger than HD.

I ordered the replacement shield from Cee Bailey's with a 2 inch extension to height. I prefer to look thru the shield with maximum wind protection. I always thought the HD shield was flimsy and had more glare & distortion compared to my Memphis Shades on an older bike. Now I'm wondering if I should have added 2 inches on the width. Thanks for the reply bobros.
I have a Cee Bailey replacement shield. Great quality, thicker than HD.
I also have one for sale 2 " shorter than the Low HD (15 from headlight) dark smoke. Its in perfect condition, just to low for me apid $ 100.00 will take $ 40.00 plus shipping.
