Cool man, good luck. Be sure and post how it turns out. This is the second bike I've had apes on, wouldn't ride without them!

I am 5'9". I have 16" apes. It really depends on how far pushed up or pulled back you have them. Either way, my arms are above my shoulders. I love mine, but I would say 14" would be very comfortable.

Apehangers looked stupid in the late 60's and 70's, and they still look stupid now. Most bad fashion statements seem to repeat themselves. What needs repeating are miniskirts, hotpants, and halter tops.

I don't know if the OP stated or not if he had ABS on his bike but you really need to watch to make sure you get the right brake line in the kits. I tried to go that route and ended up getting the Diamond Black brake line from HD and the rest of my cables from magnumshielding.

If you don't like it then stfu and keep it to yourself. Don't like them then don't put them on your bike.

Slim12 - burly kit comes with namz extensions. That's what I used for my 16" Wild1 Chubbys. I'm 6'4" and I'm super comfortable - in fact I could have gone 2" higher. IMO 14" is the way you to go. If you go shorter you will 100% regret it in no time.
