26'' fat spoke
All my parts have gone off for paint and attention has finally turned to putting a 23'' fat spoke on the front, but before I take the plunge, just wondered if anyone knows of anyone that's gone mad and put a 26 '' on a Softail, I wouldn't want to cut the headstock but I would obviously be prepared to rake it, a company called Vindictive Cycles have trees on Ebay and I mailed them and was told they can supply trees that would do the job with out cutting and welding etc, This mod is probably so far out there that I maybe asking too much , but if anyone has experiences with this company or maybe know's of any other routes I'd appreciate it.
Also I would need to source a 26'' Fat spoke, any ideas, dont think DNA make one?

That is reaching ludicrous.
I think there is a point when a wheel looks good on a bike or wow that wheel has a bike behind it too.
I think your bike looks sic, and the 23" would still look good, but more than that the bike just looks like the wheel over took it

I think theres a whole lot more to fitting a 26" wheel to a Softail than just slapping some raked trees on it. The bagger guys also modify the fork length to accommodate the wheel, and run a special fender as well, or the bike would stand way up in the front.

Saw some softies with 26's posted in the Night Train thread a couple months back (from Hawaii) --- Too big.
Looks okay on a fully done up Streeet Glide, but too much on a Softail IMO stick with the 23"

I'm sort of feeling like a lot of people here that a 23 is probably enough, but I'm always trying to push it a bit further.
Maybe the thing to do would be to just do the 23'' and save for a Streetglide and go the full monty with that.
