Trying to put on rear mudflap with the chrome fender rail, am i missing something? it supposed to fit, but i am not sure how to get it on.Directions say to put mudflap between fender rail and fender but unless i cut mudflap in two do not see how that will work.
The fender rails have been on for a couple of years i think the rear part#is 91081-93 it is the mudlap with studs that is designed for the Heritage that is giving me problems,it is supposed to fit with fender rail but I can not wrap my head around it.
Looks like the one I put on my buddies Heritage. It was a bear to get it to wrap inside the fender but it did go in. It just took some effort to form it.
This one has me stumped , even on the Harley order page they show the mudflap with the fender rail. I see no way you can put the mudflap between the fender rail and the fender there is a metal bracket attached to the bottom of the fender rail that prevents this,if you put it on the outside of the bracket you about 1 and a half inches away from the back of the fender.

I did that install on my 07 Heritage last year... had to trim the mudflap for it to fit...remember, measure twice and cut once.
Heck, after drilling your rear fender cutting the mudflap should be a breeze
I have an '07 that I took apart to get painted. As you probably see, the chrome fender on the rear fender rail comes off. I don't see your parts but if the rear fender rail comes off, you can slip the mud flap on between them that way?? fcsallon mentioned that then you could bend? the flap? Hell, I'm just trying to imagine what the prob is. Damn Harleys..Lol

It looks like i am going to have to trim the flap , there is no way to slip it between the L bracket on the bottom of the fender rail.
