Default Aluminum cleaner?
I have a FLSTF, the near solid wheels with brushed aluminum on the edge of the rim, they seem to be hard to keep clean. What are others using for a cleaning method?

A good polish should make them look good for awhile.
Problem with bare aluminum is oxidizes so quick.

I use this stuff works well on ally, use it to polish up the rear wheel on my Nightrain, not sure it's available in the States though.

Best **** ever is diamond bright tool box polish from Lowes... **** makes the mothers seem like junk

I've tried many cleaners and polishes until I stumbled onto S100 Polishing Soap. Great stuff and easy to use.

Picked up some of that to try, and it seems really good. I also read one recommendation from a firefighter, saying it was the best thing they've found for the aluminum on their fire trucks. Haven't tried it side-by-side with Mothers yet.

I have a buddy of mine who does autobody work. He took an air polisher with jewelers paste (diff. specs) and polished my rear rocker wheel to look like new. I put honda polish on it (spray can ) and it stays like new. Be careful, don't polish if it has clear coat plastic on it...with HDs you NEVER know, my new rocker came with the front wheel plastic coated and the back wheel with NO plastic coating...sure, they care...

Take some soapy water in a spray bottle and brush the wheels with #0000 steel wool. It works well.
