Long story short, I wont have the fenders back in time for Ruidoso, so I have to run the old fender til then. I did however get started on my apes and internal wiring...

 

The clutch cable came in the other day, but Im still waiting on the brake line and throttle cable...

 

The throttle cable came in on Tuesday. I got it routed and adjusted and put the tank back on. Added some fuel and fired it up. All I am waiting on now is the proper fittings for the brake line. Im keeping my fingers crossed that they come in today and I get to take her home finally. I will pick up all of the finished painted sheet metal on memorial day weekend. My brother-in-law should have it all sprayed and waiting for me to pick up from Oklahoma then...

 

 

After some careful consideration and experimentation, my brother in law has created the color we will be using for the scooter... He told me what all he did, but all I got out of the conversation was "2 coats of this, 6 coats of that 2 more coats of something else along wiht this that and the other..." Here are some pics of some scrap that he sprayed to give me an idea of what we are going with...

 

 

Here is a picture of me and the wife out during the Ruidoso Rally this past weekend... The bars were super comfy. Memorial Day weekend I will pick up everything that was sent to paint and throw it all together the following week...
