Well I've had this 94 Softail for 3 years. This past winter My mods included
New (to me) V&H longshots
stage 1 to carb
new (to me) air cleaner
Pingel high flow gas valve
Those high spark spark plugs
new plug wires
There's more but these 5 have really opened up the power in this beast.
The weather's finally starting to break here, still alot of sand on the corners.
But holy crap, She wants to fly.
I also did the TL7 LED and 7" bucket
lowered my risers to 2"
Driving spots
clutch assist
Throttle lock (for cruise control)
new Metzelers 90/90 21, 130/90 16
fabricated and install my own swingarm bag support bracket
Did all my own wrenching.
Thanks for reading, I feel like a kid again.
I'm jealous and want mine back. Triple bypass so I don't get to do any of the work and I wouldn't do the electrical if I could anyway. Nice bike Dude, enjoy and ride safe.
Nice job on the bike. It's always amazing how great it feels to hop on once the weather breaks especially when you've added some new stuff. When you've done it yourself no matter what it is it always stands out to you even more.

Pingel makes a great product. I've had stock, other aftermarket, and now pingel. There is no comparison on quality of material and ease of use. Others would wear out causing leaks from valve not turning off even in off position and get nearly impossible to function. Pingel is one finger smooth movement from on, off, reserve while sitting on saddle.
OK, my ignorance exposed, what is the "Pingel", what does it do and what is it adding or replacing. I'm always up for replacing crap stock parts with quality Harley parts or after market parts. I surly never put it out there that I know everything and I am not above always trying to learn something new. This part is totally foreign to me. I know I can always do a Google search but that does not give me information of a particular part or mod like this and the pro's and con's of any given part from those who use them.
tbonetony06, Pinel is the manufacturer of quality gas valves (petcocks). Instead of reaching down twisting blindly, It's a one finger turn. Off, Reserve, On. Smooth, easy, rebuildable. I ran low on gas with my stock valve, got the stutter (no gas gauge). By the time I reached down and found it, struggled to turn it (old valve was really tight), the bike stalled.
