I am thinking about some custom wheels for my 07 train. The ones I am looking at do not come in 17" which I believe is stock for the rear of my bike. Can I go to 18" with just a tire change or is their something more to it? How about width...how wide is the stocker and can it go any wider?
just to note though, I'm getting my wheels from PM and when I talked to them they stated they dont have the measurements for the hubs yet....oooohhh
So I took my wheels off and measured, thought it was weird that the axles were a little smaller than 1" and 3/4".....PM said that for 07 they changed the axles to "metric" sizing. So if you plan on getting a used set be ready to swap out the bearings.
Mine got delayed because of our Ice storm this past week so I have to wait for mon. no matter the tires dont come till wed.
Ill post pics soon
