I'm in the market for a set of new handlebar risers for my 2000 Springer, which of course are nothing like a normal set of risers. [:@]
I'm particularly interested in a set by Wild 1 Chubby's, the model no. is WO-531. These are "bolt on" and require zero front end modifications. I'm just getting over a "hop-up" on the bike and want to go to "25deg. drags" for bars.
[sm=forgetit.gif]I actually tried the company itself, and they are in R&D mode on these risers. They told me that they were having a problem with the chrome plating process, so from now on it'll be "HIGHLY polished aluminum".
Materials don't make me no "never you mind", but the time period before they get into putting out product is roughly three months from this month (feb.).
So, I'm sniffin'[sm=smiley11.gif] the network, and all the forums to see if I can find a set that are either just sitting on the shelf or were never sold items.
If anybody has any info at all on a set of these, feel free to email me at: dannou@comcast.net
I would appreciate ANY help at all on this one!![sm=hail.gif]
I ran into the same problem , so I went with the Arlen Ness springer top plate #20-779 . Now I can use any standard riser & bars , it looks real good and solved my problems.
