Got tired of the very stained very dirty aluminum and black THunderStar..
wanted to powder coat it, but its a daily, and cant have it down....
so, tried the ole plastdip quick easy cheap fix.....
Got the back wheel, pulley, and a few other items done....
Just really have the rear brake master ,to be dipped, and rear tombstone light to be smoked...
Then my bike will be 98 % chrome and black!!!
Looks awesome! About 643 times better! LOL. I used truck bed liner on my last wheels on my street bob. Held up pretty good for over a year. Started to peel though, but I was in a rush and didn't prep it as good as I should have. Very nice though man!
well.. my bikes arent for show... i am a cheapskate!!! so... if a 7 dollar can of plasti dip lasts me 3 -6 months..... ill be happy... 6-to a year... ill be real stoked! the ease of painting it on the bike, with no worries, no real down time... its just awesome!!!
any over spray comes right off, no mess no muck....
Plasti dip is great stuff. It will hold up surprisingly well as long as no oil or gas or anything like that gets near it. I got my wheels powdercoated but I used plasti-dip on a lot of other things on my bike including the forks and triple tree.

How does it hold up on forks? Was thinking of doing that myself.
check out dipyoucar.com.... Guys are spraying entire cars with this stuff. I love it and swear by it, have done a bunch of parts on my bike as well as the trim on my truck. Price is right, and if you mess up or don't like it, peel it off with no harm done!!
