Default Cholos and a swing arm bag?

Lovin' my cholos!!! Had to take off my Leatherworks swing-arm bag. I really miss not having it! Can't see any way to make it work. Anybody have any luck or solutions? Don't want one of those little tool boxes, they're too small for a hat, shades, gloves, etc. Thx!

Unless you make a bracket that mounts the bag higher up. But you'd never get the same look as what you had with the bag. You would need it too high to avoid hitting your pipe when the swing arm moved up.

But I'm with you; I like the simplicity look on my bike. I only have a swing arm bag and a tool bag on my forks. If I need more room, I bring a long a back pack.

Im in the exact same situation...need something but dont want a fork bag.

Ive been looking for a small rectangular type bag that I could mount to the right side rear fender strut but haven't found anything yet.

Was thinking maybe even one of those smaller top flap retro saddle bags that Ive seen in pics of the classic springers, I would run one solo on the right side but I dont know where to get one of those either.

I had a bracket that mounted the bag so it fit. No longer have it but I think I have pics somewhere. I'll see if I can find them.

I would go with saddlebags, backpack, or sissy bar and rack

Leatherworks makes this bag that I believe mounts to the left side strut...

Kinda misses the point. Took stock saddle bags off, have a solo seat & don't like sissy bars on the Deluxe, and I'm not going to sport around a back pack for a cap or my clear glasses (sunglasses for riding to the bar, clear glasses for the ride home at night). I suppose a fanny pack or messenger bag would be next... "it's not a purse, it's an European shoulder bag... it was a gift!" LOL! Ridin' dirty on my vicla with my Dora the Explorer back pack!

I don't like that as much as the look of the swing arm bag, but thanks. I'd be lucky to get half what I paid for my Leatherworks bag & then have to pay $200 for that bag. I wish they made one with a flat bottom for those of us running true duels. I'm wondering if Leatherworks or another leather shop can alter it. I might call them tomorrow. Worth a shot.

I have a couple small bags I picked up cheap (Walmart) and mounted them on the fender rails. They are in the "motorcycle" section. I carry water, sunglasses, ball cap and a few other small items. I like the looks without bags but I need some small storage ability and these work fine.

Hey I sent you a PM before I read this post. Thanks for the info, couldnt find one at my local store so I called a place in Texas and ordered a custom bag with white contrast stitching like the now useless swingarm bag I have. I guess it never ends...lol
