I currently have a Sundowner seat on my 07 Heritage and don't like too much. I've been thinking about a Mustang one piece wide touring seat.
Does any have any experience with this seat that they'd share? Also, I'd like to know of other good touring style seats that Heritage riders have experience with.
Thanks
After trying 4 different seats, I found the Ultimate Mid Rider. The most comfortable seat I've ever sat on. It'll work solo, or with your original pillion.
A slight thread high jack but you might look into the Shotgun Shock air suspension. We have this on our '12 Heritage and the road shock and jarring does not transfer to our seats, or our backs for that matter.
It might help out in the improvement of the comfort of your ride where you might not need a new seat.
Thanks all for your input...I'll check out the links. I have never had a OEM seat on my Heritage, I bought it with a crappy aftermarket seat. I am trying to pickup a takeoff seat and pillion.
Ramboamt - That's on top of my list for 2013 off-season mods. I've read quite a bit about that air suspension but I don't think I can swing the cost right now.
BTW - your bike and Bassani video was my encouragement to go that route on mine. Love the look and sound.

I have an 07 Heritage, had the stock seat since new, had ridden many miles and have no issues with it at all. I have replaced the pillion for the touring seat for my other half, which she finds very comfortable
There are of course many choices in after market seats , I suggest finding out how the seats are made and what the emphasis is on before you buy. Just my 2 cents.
