I know, your probably saying, another Shotgun Shock thread/post. Well, this is worth reading for anyone out there undecided about the Shotgun Shock. Yes, I know the price has alot to do with it. Like they say, you get what you pay for. I've only been experiencing with my Shotgun Shock for little over a week now and love it and it is by far the best mod. any softail owner should not go without. Worth every damb cent. O.K., now the reason I am writing this thread/post is about their customer service. I moved the Shotgun switches from the horn bracket to my dash on my 06 FatBoy. I broke one of the switches by overtightening it too much. My mistake and I admit I should of taken my time and payed more attention on what I was doing. After it happened, I e-mailed JD within the next 5 minutes after it happened. This was on a Wednesday afternoon. I explained what had happened and I asked him how much I owed him for a new set of switches. All he wrote back to me was he needed my address. This morning, the new switches came in the mail. I just had to write and say that his customer service is excellent and he truly cares for his customers. JD, if your out there, thank you again. You are the best...Customer for life...Ray...
Yep. JD is the man,
When my compressor on my 'bought used' ShotGun was 'stuck' he offered all help, and offered me to send him all components so he 'refreshes' them !
I did not take him on it because I am in friggin Canada but he is the MAN.
JD is the man. He gave me tickets to FogHat when in Laughlin as he got an install and could not attend. He has always taken care of any need I have had in a timely fashion.
I told you Ray! I remember telling you if you took the leap you would not be sorry and JD would stand behind his product 100% and it looks like he came through again. People comment on the price but one get's so much more than just an air ride system. You get the BEST air ride system out there and from an individual who is not out to gouge anyone and who will bend over backwards to make sure it works as it is designed to work. He also takes your calls and replies to all emails, HIMSELF! I only wish half of the vendors or manufacturers conducted business in the same fashion. Those who did would have my repeat business hands down. I also spoke to JD a while ago about something that had NOTHING to do with the Shotgun Shock. That which we talked about was in my mailbox 3 days later and he never asked me for a penny, not even to cover his postage that came out of his own pocket. I'll say it again. I have no desire to ride anything other than a Softail and I won't own another Softail without the Shotgun Shock on it. To this very day I have still yet to see one complaint or an unhappy customer. This isn't "Fan mail" either. It's the truth and it is what it is, end of story.
Hey Tony, thanks to you too bro, I listened to you and it payed off tremendously. Yes indeeed, JD is a man of his word. JD if your out there man, thanks again for taking care of me. I had a feeling you would see my thread/post...LOL... Ray...
thought i'd weigh in with my two cents. howdy JD if you read this. had a great time in Laughlin. hope it was a good weekend for sales. Kelley and i enjoyed seeing all of you and meeting new friends. tell Rudy that we might come down for Doheny in a coupla weeks. ended up at Performance Specialists in Kingman on Saturday. check the pics on facebook. they had midget wrestling. what a trip. gonna try and make Redwood if i can get time off.
