Yeah I feel yeah on all accounts. I like the mustang but I'm thinking about asking it to a upholsterer and having them take out some foam to make it sit a little lower

So if anyone wants it or knows of anyone who wants it I'll sell it for $200 OBO. Like i said, I bought it brand new from Mustang for $270 plus tax and shipping and put less than 300 miles on it. So obviously perfect condition. email me at conjurski@yahoo.com if interested. If not, it's going on craigslist and ebay next. LOVE the Road Glice BTW. Night and day difference. i loved the look of the Slim but it just wasn't enough bike for me.
Well now there's one way to solve the Slim's seat problem! lol

+1 on the mustang day tripper with diamond stitching!

I tried the mustang seats for the Slim after I had my stock seat modded with the gel insert and thought mine was more comfortable than the day tripper ,even the Mustang rep who sat on mine liked it, the touring seat is comfy but just looks bulky on the Slim. Find a good upholsterer and get the gel insert you wont be disappointed.

This is a good option too. The stock seat actually looks pretty dang cool, so a gel insert could be the ticket.

As for the stock seat with stock padding, I did a 100 mile round trip recently and my **** was stone by the time I was done. Had done that exact same ride with the spring solo and no problems at all. I went right back to the spring solo and have been happy since.

If my post was for a classified i just would have posted there. I asked how the seat was and no one answered and so I just bought it. Did a 300 mile ride and the seat was better but the bike wasn't, so I bought a better bike. If you don't want the seat, then whatever. I'll give it to someone at my job. Have fun with the Slims.

I'm surprised nobody has offered to buy your Mustang seat, since it was clear by your last post that you were selling it. That's Ok. Purely incidental on your part, I'm sure.

They are well regarded seats and if the price is right, why not.

As for your new bike. Congrats. But I'd say it's better bike for you, Dude. For some, riding a Road Glide is like being in a car. Me included.

Then again, my favorite bikes are stripped down. I love Sportsters as much as Softails.
