Default Which Mustang seat

Looking at getting a either a Mustang seat with backrest or the HD Signature seat for my '08 Fatboy. Which Mustang seat is closest in size to the stock seat? Does the Mustang move you forward?

Thanks.

My Mustang wide touring seat is 17.5" wide. Sits you about 3/4-1 inch higher and back than the stock Heritage seat. Not sure how that compares with your FB.

The Wide tour is just that - way to WIDE. Stock seat is roughly 14 inch. The sport tour seat is pretty close to stock dimensions but I don't like the square-back look.

As a side note: I just looked at C&C seats and I like what I see. However, they do not appear to make a seat with backrest for the wide-tire softails.

C&C just came out with a new solo seat for 200 wide...and with a backrest optional....

Comfort wise what is better, the C&C or the Mustang solo sports touring??

Does the Mustang solo sports touring come in leather??

Does the C&C solo have a separate pillion seat?

I spent 6hrs in the saddle on our 3rd ride out last weekend and although it cost a bunch, I am VERY happy with my Corbin seat!!!

Which Corbin seat? Compared to the stock seat, do you get moved up and forward? Do you feel like you are sliding into the tank (like a Sundowner)?

Thanks.
I'm guessing that the stock seat in the picture is the touring. In that case, the standard seat width Mustang seat #79534 would be the closest in size with a backrest. This seat will not push your forward, in fact, as it pitches your seating angle back into the backrest it may make your feel further away but you actually are not. Mustang #76244 is the closest without a backrest.
Thanks for your question and hope this helps.

The one in my signature. It is the stinger. I do not feel more forward, I actually feel that I sit back and lower. I am 5'8 with a slightly longer torso, so I like the riding position of this seat a lot. I do only have about 350 miles in it so far.

I have a back rest but I don't really see myself using it.
