Default E-15 gas - are we screwed?
Was just reading a news story about the E-15 mandate for gasoline. Does anyone know what HDs stance is on the issue? Will it be safe for a stock engine? How about stage 1 or stage 2 ?

Move to Florida. We just passed a law removing the requirement for ethanol in gas.

How predictable. There's an enormous void on the map surrounding the **** stain of Illinois - Chicago.

Pure-gas site is OK, but when you are riding and NEED gas now, you may only get E-15. I spoke with my shop/tuner and he said I may hear some spark knock, and if so they would back off the timing a bit.

If something break, I am sending the bill to the EPA.

Yep we are screwed. Not only engine knock but fuel line damage from the ethanol eating up the fuel lines and clogging the injectors in FI engines, the needle valves in carburetor engines, engine gaskets, FI and carburetor gaskets along with poor mileage. To name just a few of the problems.

I have seen some stations offering "Marine Gas" for sale. I thought this was gas without the Ethanol. Can this be used instead?

Some times the "Marine gas" has 2 cycle oil in it. You might want to make sure before purchase.
