Just a question, what is the issue ? my understanding is that once it is set while you ride you should not be affected by anything electrical !.
Or were you trying to adjust it on the fly ?

The relay is zip tied to the rear lighting wiring just below my oil tank. It doesn't move around and I've had no trouble from it.

Mine is tucked in front of my Battery actually , not moving either, I am still not sure what is the 'issue' that happened while riding ? very curious to find out.

I'd guess loose connection from not being secured.

Thanks Kowan that is where i had mine. I wasnt sure if there was too much heat there to cause issues.

yes it is the adjustment on the fly.

R&D is always an on going proposition with anything. I have designed and manufactured components used on RC, Remote Controlled, airplanes and I have tweaked some of them because of the feed back from my customers.
Then you look at the automotive industry they are ALWAYS upgrading and RECALLING their products.
The point here is what everybody else has said "The customer support is great"
I wonder how many SS systems have been installed over the years and what the problem rate is?
