Well guys
I will begin asking for prayer, im in the hospital with my father in law who i am very close to, he is bravely fighting leukemia,a truly great man who has been like a father to me
I bought my brother 05 heritage softail today, the bike has been babied and has 7,500 miles on her
I was under the understanding it was an 06, i am a little bummed about that but oh well
My question for you guys is, the bike runs and drives flawlessly ,but when you are turning it feels like the wheel is wanting to force into the turn, is this normal on these or do the steering head bearings need adjusted
I am used to my 03 roadking
Are there any issues other than the cam chain tensioners i should be aware of other than the crapy cam chain tensioners ans cam bearings, been through all that with the roadking
It'll ride a little different than your RK, but turning it should not require any unusual effort--same countersteer, press and lean in the corners. I felt like my Heritage was a little more nimble (try not to laugh) than my RK. I attributed that to going from beach bars to mini apes. Jack it up and do the fall away check when you get a chance. Prayers and best wishes to your father-in-law and the rest of your family.
