Hi all. Hope everyone is enjoying the new riding season!
So here is my first little issue of the year: I changed my fuel filter last week, which went really welk, or so i thought. Since then, my stock fuel gauge, digital gauge on the speedo/tach display, and the countdown on the display, are not working. Everything seems fine until i'm down to a little over half a tank, then it all nosedives and i soon have the fuel light on with a half tank left... Anyone know what i broke and how to fix it??? Thanks for the help guys...
I would guess you're right. Any idea how tweak it back to where it would be accurate again? I don't want to tear into it and start a trial and error repair...

Just pop it back out and manually move the float up and down. If it sticks, give a gentle tug on the arm until it travels smoothly
Thanks! I wasn't sure if it was just a simple sliding float or something unnecessarily complicated... I'll get at it tomorrow...
Hardest part is getting it out of the tank. I'd suggest replacing the gasket (if you have one) under the console. I've seen gas pour out from there when the gasket was reused
