funny thing I noticed when measuring the tires the other day...
ME880 150/80-16 is actually only 138mm wide (sidewall lip to sidewall lip; widest part of tire). Then I looked at the Michelin Commander II 130/90B16, and according to J&P cycles, it's almost 145mm (5.59") wide...
So now what? Are we all just measuring our tires differently or is J&P off on their assessment?

So I have researched nearly every tire and tried to get details one what the actual measurements are. Most likely going with Michelin Commander II's front and rear (140mm or 150mm) and found a cheap Paughco 16x4" spoked rear wheel on J&P to mount the rear tire on. Gotta check with Harley to see if that wheel will fit the bike without any hub adjustments or spacers...

I'll check back in a couple months once this all gets done. (can't ride currently so no rush to get it all done)

My concern is the rim and any spacer adjustments. (oh and its lowered about 2" in the rear) Any advice/answers are appreciated. Thanks
Antichrome90 I have a 02 train and I have a mezteler 150 on the rear tire also but can't lower it the 2". What did you have to do to make it work? I want to keep the 150 and be able to slam it because I have the lowering kit on the bike but havnt been able to slam it.
