No way, she would break my legs BEFORE I even got on the bike.
She's a firm believer in preventive 'medicine'.

citoriplus, just remember when you have beautiful riding weather this summer, it will be like an oven in AZ and like a steam sauna in the Gulf Coast areas. Trade off's for us all, except for the members in Hawaii; they are the lucky ones. tp

Well... they also get to turn right out of their driveway and arrive back (from the opposite direction) about an hour later having ridden as far as they can go.

The pre-ride discussion at a Hawaiian Hog Ride.

"So guys... clockwise, or counter clockwise?"

That's why I love it here in Kingman. It's only over 100° for around a month in the summer and below 40° for a month in the winter. You can ride all year long.

Like a giant merry-go-round, I guess. It is beautiful there, though...

Its all true, but I still miss seeing dry, unsalted, and non ice coated pavement.
Even my car gives the traction control system fits getting up the little slope in my driveway.

PS if you want a car that's a load of fun to drive fast in corners, get a Focus Titanium with the handling package or an ST.
On dry pavement they are like big go carts with nice seats and a fancy satellite radio stereo system.
But let them see two or more snowflakes and hang on.
The wide sticky 235/40-18 'Summer Performance Only' tires they put on them have no more grip than the Metzlers on my bike.
