Thanks ripsaw. The plastic disk had turned and not making contact with bulb. I now have running light but still no left blinker. Was going to try new blinker relay but can't figure out how to get odometer **** off on my 90 softail! Not even sure if blinker relay is under there but was going to check and replace relay to see if I get a left blinker . At least making some progress anyway.
Think the blinker TSM (mine is the TSSM since it is also alarm) is driven off 3 15 amp fuses, the ignition, accessories and battery all supplied by the main circuit breaker. Mine also has a 3 amp additional fuse and start relay driving it. The main and TSM are behind the plastic cover in front of my rear wheel. Mine also has a 3 amp additional fuse and start relay driving it. The main and TSM are behind the plastic cover in front of my rear wheel. The big white plug is the signal, the breaker is above it. When you throw your signal light on, I assume you are not getting power to the other terminal yet rear come on and does not flash? If that is true, I still think the problem is with the bulb socket. The TMS will do strange things when any bulb resistance is not correct to show you have a problem.
Yes left rear left light comes on but does not flash. Maybe I will get a new socket from a.z. tomorrow and see what happens. I believe tsm would be a little costly to try as a substitution . Also not sure if tsm is faulty would that cause blinker to not work on one side only. Will keep u posted thanks again.
Why I think it's still socket is both leads for front and rear bulb appear to come from one lead out of the TSM. There is also one more lead that breaks the ground side I think to flash it. System knows both bulbs are not on due to the low resistance, so TSM will not trigger other wire. There is power going to the rear and heading for the front. If the contact in the socket does not have battery voltage, then lead is broken further back in the line. Probably either a broken wire or plug. My plug is under seat coming from TSM were it doubles with a wire heading back and one fwd to another plug (I think) but not sure were that one is but it appears in my diagnostic manual..

Thanks for the help ripsaw. Found a broken wire on right side of down tubes . Soldered in a new wire blinker works now as well as running lights. It was difficult to trace the problem but with you and others from the forum problem solved. Thanks again.
