Default removing baffles

Hey all - thinking about removing the baffles out of my VH big shots. If I do, will it effect my power commander setting in my efi? Any advice would be appreciated thanks!!

Hey, I have an '02 Fatboy with VH big shots too. I was also wanting to know about taking the baffles out. Would you have to get a download if you did it also?

I had a 2001 RK EFI with Samson Big gun II's long cannons. I took out the baffles and all was fine. I lost a little torque but I did have the torque cones installed. Once removed I rode and had no back firing or anything like that. All was fine. The loss of power was so minimal. I asked my dealer and I already had the stage one so he said it was no big deal. If you got those pipes you probably already have the stage one. Try it you can always put them right back in.

you WILL have to reset the power commander. there are different maps for V/H with or with out baffles.

better safe than sorry.

With the big shots you may lose too much back pressure and you will notice quite a difference at the low end where you are at most of the time. I don't think the PC will help be able to compensate for the loss of back pressure.
