If you have no air leaks, and you've adjusted the carb with no noticeable changes, then I might suggest an ignition issue of some kind. How do the plugs look if you run the bike for a few minutes and 3k rpms?

What would cause it to hesitate and almost like a misfire when I hold it wide open when it's cold and gets a little better once hot but still does it really bad???

Check fuel filter. Check fuel lines. Check and recheck the jetting.
Plugs and wires. Ignition is putting out correct voltage

Does it idle nicely or choppy? U check that vacuum line?

I'm not an expert by any means considering my bike is EFI... But I will try to lend advice based on my experiences.

Yeah I regret letting my efi night train go now. I'm definatly going back to fuel injection. I'm going to pick up a map sensor and new plugs and wires now and see what happens I've checked for vacuum leaks by spraying carb cleaner all over where it could possibly leak and I didn't find any leaks it idles kind of choppy I guess

dont waste money on wires if you dont need to.

plug the wire onto the plug and see if you are getting good spark by cranking it over to see the arch.

I know there is probably some instrument to measure if its producing the correct spark, but thats way beyond my knowledge.

If changing the air cleaning back to stock or a different kind would fix it, if go that route so you can sleep at night...

I don't want to go back stock, there's no reason why it shouldn't run rift. The Harley dealer did something to it and it hasn't been right since
