I'm running the 1 3/4 on my 2012. I like them a lot. Louder than stock, but not obnoxious or overly harsh.
I did have some minor decel popping at first, and leak checks showed nothing, so I just finished with a Stage 1 breather and opted for a PCV, and am hoping with the right tune that can be tweaked away.
Anyone running these with the 1-3/4 baffles? If so how do you like them as far as the sound?
I run the Rush tip compatible with 1.75" baffles on my 2011 Heritage.. They get louder after about 1000 miles after new install. Your best performance gain is with the 2" baffle, but they are loud. I have them with 1 3/4" and 2". Like the 2" best. they are poppers though. the chrome seems to scratch if you look at it hard. I dont like that! I am a serious detailer and no other chrome has any scratches.
Been running the 1.75s on 2 otherwise stock 08 softails for several years. Never had any of the decel popping that others complain about. They sound just about right to me. As someone else said, they will get louder as they age and when the baffle matting burns out completely you may find the sound a bit obnoxious. Normally takes 2-3 years for me. Rush has great customer service and has provided the replacement matting at no charge. A simple R&R on the Deluxe but I have to pull the slipons to replace them on my Heritage.
I have 1.75 rush slips on 12 deluxe. excellent sound as compared to stock. i do get the decel popping but it's not too bad. Have not done stage one, etc.

What specific performance upgrades did you notice with the 2's?
I've had mine since 07.. 2''baffles. Love them.. thought about changing out, but love the sound tooo much and they still look New and they don't scratch easy.
The 1 3/4's are a little bit quieter than the 2''s, both are mild while cruising, but will talk when U get on it.
My 2'' are not poppers (Have to get good seal on header pipe), I knew I was going to add cams and that's why I wanted the bigger baff's.
Without other mods the 1 3/4''s should actually give a little better perf vs the 2''
Neither will perf like a 2-1 full system.
IMO for the money U'll,, Like-um and wont be sorry.
