Awhile back I posted about the H.D. 3D Flamed Embossed Tins that I was lucky to get before they were obsolete. They will be going on my 06 FatBoy. I've had them awhile now and now I am not sure about them. Maybe because that I've only seen maybe 2 like them. I keep in contact with my painter and he is pretty cool and not rushing me on these tins. And this is another factor. He has only painted 1 set of these. His work is phenominal though. He says he will not persuade me on what tins to have painted. The stock with a stretch or these 3D's. Maybe by me asking the forum on advice or comments about this. So what do you think? Stock with a stretch with a flame paint job or the 3D's Flame Embossed. If I choose the stock, I will sell the 3D's. I inserted the pics below...Thanks for your time everyone...Click on photobucket link...thanks http://s1296.photobucket.com/user/fa...how/RAYMOND-PC

Reason: optional pic's
The pic doesn't seem to be showing up. However, I ran some searches and found a couple examples of what you're talking about.
This is all totally up to you. Your bike and your personality. Personally, I don't care for 3D effects or flames. So, I'd go with the stretched stockers and get a wild paint scheme done. The 3D, while interesting, restricts you in creative paint designs. Not to mention, some collector may pay top dollar for the 3D tins. That's just me.
However! For you...Reading your post, it seems you are set on flames. So, maybe the 3D tins would be a good way to go. It would be unique. Lol. Dare to be different. Do it!

As others have said if you go with them they'll be rare and different which is what owning a Harleys all about, Id go with them although as Fatboy1729 has said a collector may well pay good money for them, what colour are you going to paint them ?
Sorry on the screw up on the post should have said you thought a collector might pay good money for the tins, you could try putting them on ebay with a minimum bid attached and see what response you.
