I was on a ride yesterday and the battery indicator light came on and remained on until I shut off the bike. My biggest concern is that I just bought it in march and it has less that 2000 miles on it. (it's brand new) The owners manual is not very specific, and my dealership is not open today.
It is a 2013 Fat Boy Lo. What do you think? Is the battery overcharged and discharging itself, and if so why, or is the battery low on charge?
It could be the battery cables aren't good and tight OR it's possible the regulator is bad...HD had a recall on certain bikes to replace the regulator...my '12 Heritage had the regulator replaced under this recall.
Either way, get your new bike to the dealer ASAP...
