i want to change my handlebars on my springer classic and clean up the front . this is gonna be 1 of my wintermods . i want to get ready and order a few parts allready . after looking at zillion pictures i think my choice goes to the baron customs bars .
now if i am correct these bars don't fit my springer so i need to get me an adapter plate . i was thinking about the carlini cause i really didn't find another one . maybe some of you got some other ideas ? if i get this adapter plate can i run whatever riser i want ?
also i want to run my cables internal , but i am a bit confused if it's possiblewith these bars . i don't see it mentioned anywhere .
maybe someone in here has the bars and can share he's experience with me ( and maybe some pics from a different angle )
The original bars put my wrists in an uncomfortable position. I didn't want the ape look so I installed Wild 1 Chubbys #WO510. I had the wiring done internally which cleans up the bars. Wild 1 does offer a few different size Springer bars.

i was looking at those bars also, so how do you like them ? can't make up my mind between the dresserbars or the knucklebars :s

I'm very happy with the results. At first I tried a set of classic Springer bars from JP Cycles for about $49 but they stretched my arms out straight, which forced me to sit forward a bit. I'm 5'8" with 33" sleeve so perhaps a taller person or someone with longer arms may not have the same issue. For me, the pullback on the Wild 1's was just about right.
