Looking to get some Apes like yours on my Slim. Figured 12' s but I am 5' 8" maybe 10"s would be a better choice.
Curious how tall you are? Where do you hands sit in relation to your shoulders?
Another thing is with 10" no need for rewire and cabling.
Supposedly I will with 12"s.

The definitive word
Hi all
Picked up my new Slim S (black), 4 days a go and can't fault it. It's my first new HD ever, in fact my first proper HD period.
So now need to fit 10" Todds 1.5" strip bars and need the definitive word from all who have fitted apes to their slim/slim s please.
I build bikes but have never played with a new HD so I'll happily take advice here.
1. Is there really enough free cable/wiring/brake hose to allow the fitting of 10" apes without re-wiring etc?
2. Is the removal of the internal wiring straight forward, is the refitting easy too.
I'm being lazy here but I really don't want to start stripping until I have all the facts from you Slim experts out there.
