Default BCT Baffle on Big Radius 2:1

Hi Guys, just wondering about the fitment on the Vance and Hines 2:1 Big Radius. I understand that a slight modification is required? Did you simply replace the stock V&H baffles? Any performance gains? Did it require a re-tune? Thanks in advance.

An option for you is to use a hole saw (with an extension) as big as you can fit thru the baffle and drill it out. Fuelmoto did that to mine, it sounds great. I also did the same thing to my monster ovals on my streetglide. It makes them straight thru then.

Been doing some searching to see if anyone has gone this route as I am thinking about it myself. Anyone here replaced the stock baffle on a big radius 2:1 with the BCT baffle? How much different is the sound? Was there any kind of performance hit? And last question, how much of a PITA was it to get that baffle out?

There are tons of videos on youtube of people who swapped out the V&H baffles for big city thunder baffles. I just searched Big city baffles and you'll get some hits.

Yeah those are mostly the 2-into-2 which are an easy swap. The 2-into-1 you have to take the baffle out and modify it and then add the BCT baffle onto it. I talked to a guy at BCT about it, I was just hoping to get some insight as to how it might sound afterwards. I'm not too worried about it, I don't think I'm going to mess with it after all.

I was going to put them in my pipes because I thought they were too loud but I've gotten used to them. And almost a year later, I've never been stopped because of them...soo far.
