Pinched inner tube

Default Pinched inner tube
Twice in the last month I have been left stranded with a pinched inner tube. I had a new tire put on at the Dealer about 5 weeks ago. This time it was an expensive towing charge.Is it that difficult to put in a tube am I missing something.

My Indy pinched my tube and charged me for another one but he did say my tube i furnished was "defective". Ha ha.

how long did it last? where was it pinched? could the spokes be doing this cause they are a lil loose?

First one lasted about four days they did not tell me where it was pinched, this one lasted about three weeks I should take it to an indy to tell me what the f---- is going on .

Mine just did it again this weekend on a brand new tire installed by the HD dealer. I'm done with spokes and tubes on my fatty......time for new wheels!

Jusk got back from the Dealer took my wife with me who is a bit more aggressive than me, I find out that both tubes the one a few weeks ago, and this one were not actually pinched they were split right on the silver dollar sized reinforcement around the valve stem on the tube, these are the Dunlop tubes, I made sure to take this tube with me this time.

Bought a tube at my HD dealer last year. It lasted 2000 miles. No more from them.

Worrying me now. I have a road trip coming up, just installed a new tube in the bike today, but I did it myself and made extra sure not to pinch it. I always use a lot of baby powder on the tube when mounting it, and lube up the edge of the tire to help seat the bead.

Haven't ever had a pinched tube, but makes me think.
