Default Leather Seat Tear Repair
I'm humbly requesting information on what sort of glues or repair kits you've used with success or failure on such a leather tear in the photo. I've half a mind to just stick it back together with some super glue since it is on the underside. I just need to be sure it doesn't get worse.

Being that it is on the back side I would sew it up. A heavy leather needle curved and some needle nose pliers and you should be able to sew it so that it doesnt spread and you'll never see it on the bottom. There are leather repair kits but they are just epoxy type blends and on a high pressure tension area will fail.

I stitched it up and applied some Super Glue. Should hold, but it looks a bit Frankenstein.

The seat is just stapled to the pan...

Pull off a few staples to release some pressure and sew it from the inside. then superglue a patch on the inside and re-staple the seat.

Looks like he already did sew it and since its on underside who cares how it looks as long as the stitches hold ride it. Good job on repair!
