Just got back from the bike shop... I bought a 2006 heritage with less than 1400 miles on it.
Its got V&H, ape hangers, grips, foot pegs, floor boards, lowered a little, and a few other things done.
I'm not sure if I like the apes but I'm gonna try em for a while. I just got rid of my deluxe so hopefully this one won't be much different, I can't wait to ride again its been 2 1/2 months! I can pick it up tomorrow.
Leaving for Florida Saturday so I might stop by Daytona for a bit. I'll post some pics as soon as I can.
I got rid of the deluxe because of some issues I was having with my scholarships at school, but now since those are all straightened out I can get another one. What sucks is looking back I didn't have to get rid of my deluxe in the first place, but at the time it seemed like the best thing to do.
I was looking at getting another deluxe butwhen I seen this heritage I thought it looked really good. It has the WWW tires just like the deluxe, and its lowered a little, so really it pretty much is like the deluxe except for a few small details. I also liked the colors its the "heritage" paint scheme with blue and creamish color. Itlooks pretty sweet IMO.
Not to be nosey ,but how was the price? Did you get fair trade or deal? just curious on what they are selling for this time of year. can't wait for pics. also you said last owner lowered it, I'm not sure but that is big buck's to do it, part's ,labor ,unless you are wrench, still not cheap, hope it give's you many trouble free mile's. GOOD LUCK.
