I am getting ready to ride the scoot tonight and when I was cleaning her up a little, I was looking down behind the oil tank and noticed a hole in the bottom case and it almost looks like its cracked on top and bottom. There is no oil or anything and I have washed and cleaned my bike many, many time and never noticed this.
Does anyone know if this is normal? lol

Please, for the love of God, tell me this is normal and I am just an idiot and never noticed it.
Totally normal. That gap is for spliting the cases. When I split my cases to do my crank I found some pis poor machining there and it is right by an oil passage. Wash it and move on. Mine leaked from day one. Never realy bothered me.

Ah ha! I see it now, makes sense. It kinda scared the bejesus outta me for a sec when I saw it. Lol
I knew you would come through with an explanation. I feel better about my ride tonight.
