Default Most comfortable seat

I have a Le Pela solo seat on my Fatboy and it looks great, I like the frame hugging look of it. But it is not very easy on the butt. 100 miles and you're ready to bust a hemorrhoid. So what, in your opinion, is the most comfortable seat?

I have the same seat for my Fatty for cruising, but I broke down and invested the money in a Corbin Dual Touring seat so when I ride long disances or I take my girlfriend on rides we're comfortable. It's expensive, but it is a VAST improvement over the Harley solo with pillion and after 200 miles you're a** isn't dead. I love it.

I too have a Corbin, that I bought so my wife can ride... Now she has her own ride and I no longer need the Corbin. I am looking for a better looking Solo Seat...? I do ALOT of long distance cruising 400-500 a day.

I enjoy my Mustang Wide Studded Solo with driver's backrest. Eventually, I will get the passenger seat and sissybar pad, but I do solo riding right now, so no hurry.

Maybe the LaPera Silhouette or the LaPera Daytona Sport or HD's Sidekick?

Which LePera do you have? I'm looking at the Silhouette Solo with the gel insert. Anybody have one of these? Opinions?

I have a LePera Monterey solo seat with gel pad. I like it a lot, but this is not a seat for long legged fellows. If you call LePera, they will send you an uncovered seat which you can then mark for trimming, send it back, they will trim it for free and then cover it and return it to you. Only downside is that you have to pay the list price.

On my seat, I wanted to trim some foam off the rear part which holds you forward. I took off the cover from the rear of the seat (drilled out the rivets), trimmed the rear pad, then put the cover back on using sheet metal screws. Worked like a charm.

I highly recommend the gel pad for long distance riding.

I've put in an 800 mile day on my BAR Enterprises Hitchhiker, and I was ok.

Cheers!

This is one area that I actually bought HD. I got the Sundowner after reading a ton of great reviews. I took it on my trip last year and its a great seat, I only paid like $200 through Zanottis. Very comfortable...
