Salesman told me the softail abs is linked this year. I don't find anything on HD site suggesting this. Anyone know for sure?

 

Not that I am aware of. The only bikes in Harley's line up that has the linked brakes are the touring line. No of the others have the linked braking system. Some softail do come standard with ABS for 2014.

 

I can't say for sure but I think it may be limited to touring models.

Since I just bought my bike a few days ago, I recently had *many* talks with parts and with service and 3 dealers about what was new for 2014. At least as far as Fat Boy's are concerned ABS is now standard (as opposed to a add-on) but the linked brakes is a feature that is currently only on the touring models.
