Default 2014 Linked Braking System

I am not finding a striaght forword answer no where so I will ask here. Is the Linked Braking System standard on all Touring models or only with the ABS? I am assuming only with the ABS, but some saleman claim all 14 touring models. I know never listen to a Salesman,Right. Anyone know for sure?

All the Touring bikes, except the RK have ABS standard, all ABS bikes have linked brakes.

I was also told the linked system only works when going over 20 mph

It seems funny talking about this like it's something new. My 2006 Yamaha had linked brakes as well as much older Honda's. Guess HD thinks they found something new.

I believe the idea with the linked system engaging only at speeds of 20 mph and above has to do with a rider dropping the bike at lower speeds, for exsample, in a parking lot making a turn etc. At least that's what I read on a separate thread where this question was asked. I'm a fairly new rider, but I can tell you from first hand experience; going slow while turning and applying the front break will cause you to lay the bike down. Well if the linked system was to engage at all speeds... I'm sure one on the experience riders will chime in, but it makes sense to me!

I had linked brakes on both of my Beemers, though they were front-to-rear only. It's a great feature, and one I'm happy to see Harley adopt. Especially since there are so many riders who refuse to use the front brake.

Yes.... The reflex brakes with ABS is part of the project Rushmore push. They are electronically linked rather than hydraulically linked. At speeds below 20 mph, the brakes de-link. It is exactly for the reason u cited. Don't want the front brake activating with the bars turned
