Got one on my Lo, love it, no buffeting. Did a lot of research on windshields before I ordered it. Normal windshield pouches will not fit on it because of the adjustable vent, but I used that as an excuse to buy a swingarm bag. Some people may say it looks funny but I will take function over form any day. I only planned to use it for long trips but I haven't taken it off since I installed it except to clean. Use Plexus to clean it, it will seal and protect it.

FWIW, I used Plexis for many years until 2 years ago when a buddy told me about Sprayway Glass Cleaner. No ammonia, no cloudiness. Melts bugs off and works as good as Plexis. Best part is you can buy a case of six 19oz cans for the same price as one can of Plexis. I bought a case on Amazon for $18 shipped. Didnt mean to hijack the thread but thought it was worth mentioning. Ride safe!

Pics? Was considering this myself. Not a fan of shields on lo's was considering this as an option for long rides on highway. Like the looks of the quick detach ms batwing but heard of major buffeting unless you get a large shield with it...

The dealer told me that the purpose of that "mail slot" (as Benway called it) it to reduce that pocket of negative pressure behind the screen, which causes a lot of the buffeting.
You see those now on the new '14 touring models.
I've been told it works really well.
I had the 18" H-D quick detach on my Slim, but I replaced the screen with a Long Ride Shields 16" "recurve". Buffeting is only an issue above 65.
I plan on adding a small tank lift this winter to see if that helps, as a lot of it is coming from below anyway...
I talked to a friend of mine that has a new StreetGlide with the "mail slot". He loves it; says it works really well. Don't know how it'd look on a Heritage tho'...

I'd love to try one, especially if it was one of those new StreetGlide Specials.
But then I'd have to buy it, so...
