That looks REALLY nice ... The top of the engine looks great .... and the bike has even more of a custom look ....
I wasn't sure either until a HOG friend said to stand back a fair distance then look at the bike from all angles especially the sides .... that's when I appreciated the difference ....
Personally I wouldn't go back to stock height ....
Anyway well done ....

Man, what a PITA. Do to the split tanks on older Softails, and this being a new test item all the parts where not included as there are variations because of lift height.
I was able to get hardware at Homey D's. But it was trial and error for bolt sleeve stops that hold the dash back bracket (there's 3).

I would swap it for a 1.5", and add the 1/2" spacer for the rear of the tank.
BTW- on your photobucket album, copy the url in the "IMG" section of the "Links to share photo" section to the right of picture, and paste them in your reply. It will give the picture to see right here on the forum instead of opening another tab/window for your pics. If someone clicks on the pic, it will then go to your photobucket album. Example, before lift -

You can also copy the url in the "Direct" section, and press the yellow and gray icon in the quick reply, and paste that in the pop up, which will keep your photobucket from opening when someone clicks on the picture, but still puts it here on the forum. Here is the after lift pic =
Got any pictures of the "deluxe" kit for the rear?
What is it, just a spacer and a longer bolt?
Yes, a powder coated spacer and a bolt and instructions. Actually, there are two in the kit...the Softail shares the same kit as the Touring models. The 09-up Touring models need two spacers and bolts.
So when you get the kit for the Softail, you can do two bikes.
I just ordered the 2" kit, now I'm wishing i would have bought the deluxe option to lift the rear also.
You just placed the order, call DK up and change it. But think hard on the 1.5" kit. I'm looking at the tank angle to fuel loss. Pretty significant, but the bike is in the slammed position too. It won't be that drastic while riding.

Just placed an order for the 1.5" kit w/ the deluxe option...
