I also don't like its heavy weight, so I changed to a Pirelli 240mm Diablo that weighs an astonishingly 6 or 6.5 lb less than the Dunlop! The difference in handling and liveliness is fairly stunning.
Pressure and temperature testing on the Pirelli established that 38 psi is a pretty good inflation pressure for it (which again suggests rather strongly that the Harley recommendation for the Dunlop is way wrong).
However, I have no idea yet how many miles the Diablo will last as I have only a few hundred miles on it so far. However, the improvement in handling and nimbleness and turning is so great that I plan to get another Pirelli when this one wears out, even if the tread life proves no better than the Dunlop, or even worse. It's that superior a tire.
See my posting on the Pirelli on this forum. Use "successful tire experiment" as the search term.

I rode it today; dollar for dollar, its better than stock.
Its not as wide; it looks better; you are nestled in the pocket being pushed forward a bit and its more comfy
nothing fancy, but it works for now.
Maybe get a Danny Grey for riding sol.
