If you are needing to reposition yourself before applying throttle, there is something wrong in your seat-to-handlebars positioning. You should not need to "move" before taking action.

That is exactly why people replace the stock seat when riding solo. Because with the stock seat you would have to move forward and try to hold yourself on the bike or you would slide right off the back of it.
That's some nice numbers. How does it ride? Any problems or issues since you've had it done?
No problems. Runs like a beast. I'm going on a 3hr cruise tomorrow so I'll give you some feedback tomorrow after I put it through some hard/casual riding.
Jim, can you provide another picture of your Corbin from further back to see most or all of the bike with that seat?
Thanks

That's why when I ordered my Corbin seat, I specifically asked for the driver position to be moved forward 1 inch. Now, I can comfortably hold the bars full-time with zero strain, and to apply gas, I just twist the grip - no movement or bracing required, because the "hump" that prevents rearward sliding is right where it should be.

That's exactly what I meant. Thanks 24v for saving me the typing.
I run the same Danny Grey steat as 24v.............the buttcrack and I'll be
getting the 2up version for the girl in a couple of weeks. Great fitting seat
and an awesome looking seat in my veiw.

Danny Gray is either almost done, or they may now be done, with a back seat portion for the Buttcrack Solo. No need to buy a whole other seat.
I'm getting a danny grey custom 2 up seat in a couple days. It's a buttcrack driver and low profile passenger part squared off to flow with the fender. Will post when it comes in.

Here are the photos I have:
A vacation and then my wife's work pressures have prevented HER from testing the passenger portion yet, but I have a 1000 miles on the driver portion. Like so many other buyers of Corbin seats, my first reaction was "this is a firm and dense seat". However, it is superbly comfortable. I also love the choices I had on textures and styles (the "asphalt" finish on the sides and back of the driver portion go particularly well with my metal flake silver paint). It absolutely drips with quality when you examine and touch it, and the electric heat in the driver's portion is nice for the upcoming winter.
