Actually, they will. If it's a Metzeler 880, it weighs only 17 lb versus the stock Dunlop's 21.75 lb., and yeah, 4.75 lb taken off the very perimeter of a wheel will make a difference in both dyno results and in nimbleness and turn-in on the road.
Not as much as changing to my Pirelli Diablo 240mm though, as the pirelli weighs only 15.5 lb.
