Talked about chopped rear fenders for BO a few months ago here on HDF.
Shortly I'll go on Thunderbike chopped rear fender and stretched tank. TB rear fender needs a custom seat but imho it's worth doing 'cause it looks great. Also Rick's is nice. Lottermann's has the advantage to fit stock seat. Heartland's one is well done but I wasn't so excited by the shape...

Thunderbike seems to be my favorite except for the seat part and the price. In saying that a custom seat is going to be needed anyway over the standard seat in the future.
FWIW Le Pera will be coming out with some interesting BO seat options within a few months. IMHO their Silhouette with a choice of interesting inserts would suit the BO well and its one of the options they plan to offer. Dunno about $$
Is there any reason why I can't use these trees on my BO? Whilst I really like my bar end signals I'm thinking of heading a different way with my bike. Thanks in advance.
If they accept the same diameter forks as the breakout and they don't have any rake built into them (which it seems like they don't) you should be good to go.

Those will not work. They are for 41mm tubes and the Breakout has 49mm tubes.
