Mine was doing that also. I believe he added extra length to the leather to try and stop that from happening. Tank and tins are at paint right now but hopefully will be back soon.
Pearl white base with some orange and green hand pinstriping possibly other colors. Kind of anxious its hard to wait.
ya man ! thats sounds like a winner. I had a vw bug i built 20+ years ago with white as the color with green and kind of a purple orange color really thin set of freehand stripes. Those colors will really make the chrome pop. Hows the bike running, i want those hillside heads you got.....lmao im out of toy money for now.!
I do love my black line dash, it flows with my bike. Having said that, the leather looks pretty sweet and is a huge improvement over the plastic stock dash. Nice job guys.

Bikes running great, but havent had much time to ride it between having it torn apart and this terrible weather. I have rode in in the high 20's and low 30's just because it needed to be ridden to help charge the battery and because i love riding.
I wish you could have a set of Hillside's heads. Scott does good work.

I love your green bike. Saw one at the dealer the other day they're sweet.

Here is some of the pinstriping he's done:
nice stuff , cheers to doing something different. Make it your own. Post up some pics when you get it together...
sothai whats going on with your gas cap? Did you get that thing off yet?
Well Buck, I had to come up to Bangkok for a couple of meetings, so I stopped by the dealer on the way into town and spoke to my mate the Service Manager. Turns out its a flat blade screwdriver into the keyhole and a moderate bang. Apparently, this will collapse the lock from the inside and it can be unscrewed as per a non-locking cap.
Ross is coming down to do it on Monday. I'm not going to do it because the bike is under warranty and any tank damage will be their problem should it happen.
I invested in the chrome pop-up cap, as I'm not risking that happening again. Imagine being out in the bush, bingo fuel and that happens?? Doesn't bear thinking about. The flush caps look much better anyway IMO.
That little stopover cost me a $500 dollar HD handbag for the wife! ;-)
