lol yeh I could not make out the badge on the pipe. on another note, having a F*** of a time getting the rear shock bolts off the bike. I've already broken a socket extension, that is how tight they are. tried torching them a bit too to loosen any factory locktight. i put my old school 1/2" lever torque wrench on them and they meter at well over 135 ft-lbs without budging. i could try my beefy impact gun but I don't want to snap off a bolt head- that would really suck.

might have to go to the dealer on this one. farking hell.

I think the pipes are the Jeckyl and Hyde pipes they sell in Europe. Maybe I am wrong.

alright- Done - new rear shocks installed!! So I just jacked the bike up higher to where I could get a bit better hammer leverage to beat on the wrench. About 5 solid whacks with a 32oz framing hammer broke each side free. afrer that it took about 20 quarter turns with the hammer tapping it along. then the bolts free up enough to hand turn them with wrench. there is quite a bit of factory locktight on these bolts the threads were very white and powdery on removal. just an FYI.

The forward bolts were cake only tightened to 36ft lbs. I changed one shock at a time - easier that way because leaving one old shock in lets you easily put in the first new shock without needing to support the rear wheel. After the first new shock is in, it will hold the rear suspension in perfect place to take the second old shock out and put new one in. those rear 3/4" bolts were the only hard part because there is little room for leverage to break them free. I used about 5 good whacks with the hammer to tighten them up again. yeh not technical, i know, but it got the job done.

pics below. dropped the bike about 1.25" and set the preload 2.5 turns. no time today for a test ride though. compare these pics to my sig pic at bottom. big diff!

seems that the thunderbike fender is on 90% of the European bikes shown,
http://shop.thunderbike.de/en/Thunde...for-260mm.html

saw one or two with the complete kit ie. built in turn signals etc. very neat!!!

arrgh. yes I know. I don't have an extra couple grand right now for the rear wheel. just spent $3k on my old doggie trying to keep him healthy. 16yr old Jack Russell. Maybe by fall. I might do the motor upgrades first. We'll see-

BTW did you watch that compilation video i posted earlier? I swear your bike is in that vid. lol.
