Yeah, that might be it. I don't recall how the rear pipe was routed though - not certain it's the pipe I was thinking about...

Santee makes a longer, 11" version too. From this eBay description, it sounds like it has the 18mm O2 bungs.

The fit guide on that eBay sale says FXSB's are a no-go though...bastiges...

*edit* Almost forgot - a few days ago I found a video of the 5" version...

Isn't true that shorter pipes don't tune as well and therefore lose power?

there's also the Hooker Fourbidden- that is probably the closest to the 'ol skool hot rod' pipe. it's an actual "2-4-1". really weird.

OK, pretty sure this is the pipe...

Sikpipes "BAGGER"

I'm thinking...chrome, no wrap, plain tip turned straight out. Could probably have it built with the big O2 bungs. Pretty crazy money though.

yeh their pipes are inexpensive compared to most. the Bagger pipe won't fry your leg like the ones that come down and merge by the front cam chest. the Sikpipes Octane or the Santee Lake pipe is a good example of that.

Yes and no. you can tune any pipe with a good tuner. a shorter pipe will typically lose lower to mid TQ. but if it flows well it will make more HP up top. better for a drag bike than a street bike. Still, you do want some length for max results and dealing with reversion pulses- IIRC the optimal pipe length for a TC is something like 44 inches.

but, the short more open pipes sound sick as hell, and visually they allow for more sinister designs.

So it's a trade off. From what I've been able to research the only "super shorty" 2-1 that seems to keep the low to mid performance up to a decent level is the Akropovic Open Line 2-1, and it does have a reasonably sick, unique look.

Default Supercharger

Well finally the Supercharger is being installed. We got bit delayed waiting for bigger injectors and also the Supercharger had to be slightly modifed for the 110 engine as it was originally designed for the 96 / 103 engine.
The tuning will then be completed on Tuesday on a Dyno and am hoping to have the bike on Wednesday.

As this supercharger is beltdriven centrifugal type then the boost gradually increases with Rpm. In order to get hight boost and torque at lower Rpm then the gearing of the supercharger has been slightly altered and the engine RPm will be limited to 5600 in order not to overspeed the supercharger.

I prefer low to midrange power rather than getting few more Hp at very high Rpm..

Here are pics of the installation.. will then post the dyno results on Tuesday
