I'm 195 lbs. 36 psi was as low as I went, too, with my stock 240 rear tire....mainly to achieve a more even wear pattern. My current ME 260 states 42 psi as the max pressure allowed. As the 260 has a much better wear pattern than the stock tire I run it at approximately 38 psi when riding solo increasing it to 40 psi if riding 2-up (added 122 lbs).
I am slowly modding my 16 breakout and was looking to order the FP3 tuner. can anyone tell me if thats a good tuner or is there a better one? this has prolly been gone over already but i couldn't find anything pertaining to the 16's
thanks
thanks

It is a "canned tuner" more or less that fools the HD ECM into running a richer fuel mix- it's not bad but it is rather limited in what it can do. From my eyes and for my intended bike modification needs it is a waste of money and over priced- but that is just me - There are others who use it and like it. There is another one too called XiED: http://sales.nightrider.com/2016_c_195.html - Same principal, fools the ecm into delivering a richer mix.
There is nothing different in regards to tuning any of the BO years- Tuning is tuning on the 103 motor. Anything you read on tuning / mods in this thread is applicable to your bike.
"Good" tuners are full featured products like Dynojet Powervision, TTS MasterTune, Thundermax - My favorite among them is the Dynojet Powervision with the new Target Tune add on. You can do anything with your bike in terms of tuning fuel for performance or economy, timing, curing decel pop, changing speedometer accuracy, etc.
It comes down to what you plan to do to your bike and why you want to buy a tuning product in the first place. What's your intended reason and goal both now and later? Determine that then get the right product.
Maybe give Jamie a call over at FuelMoto (www.fuelmotousa.com) - they are forum sponsor here and do a lot of work with aftermarket tuning, mainly with the Powervision. You can get some good info to help with your choice.
LOTS of good info in this thread so try to read as much of it as you can.

By the way, for those considering the Primo Rivera Game Changer kit to up the primary gear raito by almost 6%, Primo Rivera just confirmed to me the correct part number for the version of the Game Change kit that works for the Breakout:
1066-0051 is the #
Thank You
Mike Seright
Rivera Primo
Warehouse Operations Manager
562-907-2600
Sales: 800-872-1515
(The instructions for the kit refer to TWO kits: the 1066-0051 and the 1066-0050, without explaining the applicability or differences. Apoaprently, the 1066-0051 is the right one for the Breakout)

Just curious, why you were not happy? If you didn't like the tune, did you try running AutoTune or editing the map you were running to customize it to your liking??
