Time for a new gas cap. You already know how I feel about the Blackline piece.
haha - yeah yeah.. I stop at the local (and not so local) harley shops on my travels and no one seems to have the flush mount cap that I want. I'm going to have to bite the bullet and just order the stupid thing..
Those flush mounted caps do look good. I've ordered one of those Kuryakyn keyed (almost) flush mount units. Whats the consensus on those ?
Thing is, I live in one of these areas where the Moonbats have seen fit to key the Hummer a couple of times so I'd like to keep em out of my tank at least.
I've never seen the Kury keyed one, but the Harley flush mount unit would probably foil them enough that they wouldn't get it open. You have to push down on it and twist to get it to pop up, then you turn it off like a normal cap.

Thanx 24v; you're probably right about that !
As the Kuryakyn has been ordered, I'll be able to give it a review here when I return from work (2 mos). On one review I've found, the owner had an issue where the 1 way valve, being glued on, dropped off into his tank. I'll epoxy mine if it isn't screwed in place as per "apparently", older models.
One thing about gas caps, if they turn out to be a mistake, they're not the most expensive ones you can make .
Hey everyone. I sold my road glide for a brand new breakout about a month and a half ago because they are hands down the coolest bike HD makes. I found this thread and read through the whole thing. Basically I just wanted to introduce myself to the breakout crew.
