Has anyone tried either Flanders 25 degree drag bars or wild 1 chubbys dragster bar on their breakout? If so thoughts and pics please...?
I want to keep the stock drag bar look. These two offerings advertise a pullback of 6"-6.5" inches. Which sounds like it would work but curious as to the aesthetics. Thanks for all replies!!

I've been using the reduced-reach solo for two months now, love it. And I'm 6'2", approx. 215 pounds. I feel like the weight is distributed a little better, but I may eventually go with extended forward controls so I can stretch my legs out...

I tried the factory Reach seat for several hundred miles, and ended up replacing it with an aftermarket seat.
The Reach seat does do what I wanted: it moved me forward, and that felt good.
But, it also moved me DOWN. That downward movement, coupled with the bike frame going UP as you move forward, reduces the amount of seat foam height available to cushion the rider from bumps. It was fine most of the time, but on sharp bumps, it hurt.
I finally went to a custom Corbin seat. I LOVE it. It provides real support, and I feel like I could ride a lot of miles per day on it.
First I'd like to say hello, I'm new here. I have read the entire breakout thread and have found it very helpful. I have owned 2 breakouts, a 13 and a 14. I traded up to get the hard candy chrome custom paint and abs. Now to my reason for this post. Like everyone else I had to reach too far forward and it was uncomfortable. After some research I had spacer Jims 1.5 inch spacers on my 13 but on my 14 I wanted more. So I went to a local machine shop and had some 3 inch spacers made. In the mean time I bought some adjustable riser extentions from Rox Speed Effects. They aalot of clearance 2 inches and they go in your risers in place of the bar and then the bar goes into them. They give a little bit of rise and pullback at the same time. The only downside is you have to reroute the wires that go through the hole in the triple tree and you have to turn the speedo 180 degrees in the riser cap along with the panel/strip with the neutral, turn signals, and high beam indicator. Then you can turn the whole cap 180 degrees so the speedo is now above the handle bars. Then when I received the 3 inch riser extentions I installed them under my original risers. Much better ride, seating position hasn't change but it feels much more comfortable. I had to loosen both banjo bolts on three front brake line to squeeze out all of the length of could get but it all worked. I went to the harley shop today and luckily they had a lot of clearence stuff on sale along with three boxes of brake lines. I found one that is 6 inches longer than mine and it was only 25 dollars. It is steel braided as well. Sorry for such a long post I'll try to download some pics as soon as I figure out how to do that. If anyone has any questions I'll do my best to explain the process. By the way total cost was under 200 dollars.

Before I recently changed to the HD Beach Bars, I had a Danny Gray reduced Reach seat and it was very comfortable indeed. Looks-wise, it's a Butt Crack Solo style.
Once the Beach Bars were fitted, I went back to the stock seat.

Thought i would post some pics of my breakout. Decided to clean up the front and rear of the bike. I removed the front turn signals all together and installed arlen ness deep cut grips and new levers. I really like how clean it looks up front now. I also ordered a bullet front light but i need to get a mount extension bracket for it before i can install it. If anyone knows where i can get one that is already powder coated black, let me know where and the part numbers.
For the back, i just removed the stock license plate bracket and installed a axle mount one i got off ebay. Looks great and no longer looks like i tumor off the backend of the bike.
Let me know what you guys think. I am eventually going to start my own thread so i can document my progress as i continually mod my bike. Thats part of the fun of owning a Harley right?

You have a really good eye.
I ordered the short bracket to go on the other side for the signals and that will even it out. When it gets in, it and the struts are off to get powder coated flat black.
I have the deep cut pegs i am installing on the front and rear. I just snapped the pic before i put them on. Lol
