Thanks guys, great thoughts. I plan on just getting rid of the stock pegs and not having those stupid feelers. I am planning on a Bitchin' seat though I honestly didn't think the stock seat was all that bad.

I also saw that Performance Machine has a 2" extender. I think I will ride around as is first and then make the call. Or get a new seat and see where my position is after that and upgrade accordingly. Thinking I will have the SE Fork oil put in the front fork and see if that reduces the dive enough for my style of riding or if I need more. Cheap fixes first. And I have lots of mods and bits and bobs I want in hand so I can have the dealer install some when the bike is torn apart already while they are swapping out the stock stuff for the way I want the bike - like replacing the front rotor and caliper while they are replacing the stock rims for the turbine wheels. Makes sense and I don't trust my skills yet when it comes to important things like being able to stop. lol
Swing arm bag installed, was pretty quick and easy. Going to add some zip ties to it though as previously mentioned on this threat to get it as tight a possible to the swing arm. Also took the reflector off before install

I found the front reflectors I little harder to take off than the rear ones for some reason, they cracked midway but I got them off. I don't own a heat gun but I got them off anyway
I'm still working on the cycle sound speaker setup. Thanks to 24v and LA I canceled that T-Tap connector after double checking it wouldn't work. Ordered the relay from eBay and going to go that route. I also found that plug under the tank by the neck. Can you pull it out with some slack or do you need to remove tank? I attempted to remove the tank but my quarter inch impact wasn't up to the test lol.
You don't need to remove the tank. Just remove the front bolt, and the one at the rear right under the seat. Then lift the front of the tank and slide it back a little. This will give you better access to that plug if needed.
At the front of the tank on the bottom there is a crossover line. Put a piece of cardboard between that at the chrome rocker box. That will keep the clamp on that line from scratching the rocker box when you slide the tank.

I haven't had the bike on a dyno yet. Seat of my pants tell me that it pulls like a mule. I can't imagine how the 117 pulls. Next time my local Harley has a dyno shootout, I will try to swing by. I am interested in what the numbers will be. I really don't have any experience on a 103 to compare it to. My other bike is a CVO Fatbob with the SE110. It pulls about the same, but the Fatbob seems to have more torque from the onset. Eventually, I will get the bike in for a full tune, but I still haven't decided if I am going to keep D&D Bobcat exhaust on. It is very quiet, and aesthetically, there are much better options out there. I want the exhaust taken care of before I worry about tuning.

A tip I got from another member here - BE SURE and use some 3M Ventureshield clear vinyl on the swingarm before using zip ties. You can get a 12" by 12" piece on ebay pretty cheap. cut 1.5" wide strips and wrap it around the swingarm at the locations for the zip ties, then put the zip ties over this. I looked at mine and sure enough, the zip ties were abrading the paint. Fortunately it was very slight and I polished off the marring with some rubbing compound. I have wrapped mine with the 3M since then (actually I did double wraps in each mounting location, because I'm OC.. lol).
Tip- you don't want to see the ugly zip ties on the top mounts, so after you secure the top mount zip ties, slide the leather strap into the slots over the zip ties and buckle. it's a tight fit but it will go. that way you have a solid mount but only see the leather straps. don't worry about the leather straps for the bottom mounts because you can't see the zip ties anyway.

I had the seat made to order. I wanted a diamond stitch pattern sewn into the seat. We did not talk about how the DG seating position compared to the HD seating position. The DG seat is a bit thinner, but since it kicks up at the back it moves you forward a bit. I suppose they could thin the foam down a bit more in order to move the rider back and down. I wonder how that would affect the final "comfort quotient" ... lol ...
